"An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure." - Benjamin Franklin

While New England has been lucky so far this Hurricane Season, we’re on our toes for the potential of wild storms this winter. Last January, Southern New England was quite literally hit with a Nor’Easter each week that month alone. Many of these storms did not produce a lot of snow, but they did have incredibly high winds, leading to widespread damage throughout the state. In the aftermath of these storms, we always get in influx of requests for pruning and removals before the next big storm. We always do what we can to squeeze our clients in but this is not always possible; there’s existing work scheduled that cannot just be moved. As such, our best recommendation is always to plan for a season ahead. Some scenarios to consider:

Worried about winter storms? Reach out early in the Fall so we can evaluate the condition of the trees, assess any risks to your home or property, and plan to take action before something happens.

Want to replace trees or plant in the Spring time? Call us in the winter so we can remove any trees that you are looking to replace, and grind out the stump adequate for replanting. Come Spring time, getting the tree in the ground is your only worry. (Special note: While we no longer offer planting services, we can give you some great recommendation for those that do!)

Concerned about having your property looking good for all those summer events? Call us in the Springtime! We can plan to have things looking spic & span in plenty of time for those cook-outs, graduation parties, and weddings.

Noticing health issues as Spring and Summer progress? Let us know immediately! Whether it be due to different pests, or environmental issues, we can evaluate the property and get it on a protection plan beginning as early as Fall in many cases.

As always if you have any concerns or projects in mind, feel free to reach me at stephanie@tfmorra.com.
