T.F. Morra Tree Care’s Statement Regarding COVID-19.

Due to the emergence of COVID-19, we have had to get creative in order to continue to provide clients with the services they know and expect, like many other small businesses across the country. First and foremost, our priority is the safety of our crew and client community alike. This has meant some changes to the way we operate; while we are hopeful that Coronavirus will soon be a thing of the past, for the foreseeable future, we ask that you help join us in this effort to combat the spread. The following changes to our system will help us all to do just that.

Estimates for Tree Work

We are happy to provide you with a quote for any of your property’s needs. At this time, we are not scheduling any in-person consultations. When Tom arrives to assess your concerns, we ask that you please remain indoors for the duration of his visit; he will give you a call should he have any questions. If you have a window or screen door that you are able to speak to him from, that works! Just please remain indoors.

On your Work Date

The day of your tree work has arrived! Now what? Our crew will arrive during the scheduled time frame that I have assigned you. It is imperative that any cars that may impede our way (whether personally owned or neighboring) be moved in advance of your arrival window. Like any estimates with Tom, we ask that you please remain indoors. Now is not the time to communicate things you want the crew to know; any concerns should be relayed to Tom or myself beforehand. We know many of you have come to know and care for our crew just as much as we do, but for their safety and yours, it is essential that you refrain from greeting them. If for any reason you absolutely must go outside, it is imperative that you respect CDC guidance on social distancing, maintaining a distance of no less than 10ft apart. We are aware that guidance is currently 6 ft - but we are finding that out of absentmindedness, that boundary is not always being respected. Remember; it’s for our protection and yours.

Communication

Because of COVID-19, I am now working remotely from home. While I certainly monitor our voice messages, it is far easier to get a hold of me via email. While most of you already have it, for those of you who don’t, you can always reach me via stephanie@tfmorra.com. If you are unable to email and do indeed leave a message please note that any call back you receive from me will be from my private home number, which appears as blocked. It is important to have a healthy home life/work life boundary, to protect the privacy of myself and my family, which I know we can all appreciate. Again, for expedited service, an email to stephanie@tfmorra.com is always the best way to go. It is in that spirit that we must also insist that requests not be made via social media platforms, should you be friends with Tom on Facebook; even he needs a time and space to unplug from trees. If you have Tom's cell number, please do not use it unless it is to return a call from him - he is on the road almost all of the time, and chances are your request will get lost in the mix. Tom will be the first person to tell you - it's better to contact me if you want to get on his list! (Please note: while we do have a business Facebook page, that is for the use of sending out information to the broader public, and not a means of contact for services.)

I apologize to all for these changes; It took quite a bit of careful deliberation to come to these decisions, and we are forever grateful for your flexibility as we navigate through this evolving time. We are all hopeful that we return to normality sooner rather than later, but in order for that to happen we must all do our part. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
